Development

We wanted our game to have an old-school feel to it. So, you won't be able to save anywhere in the game but at predetermined save spots. Dragon Warrior has churches, Breath of Fire has dragon shrines, Final Fantasy has Save Points, and we have phones.

At first, the phones looked like payphones. You'd find them up against the wall and could use them to save. After playing many games in the "Yazuka series", I thought it would be cool to have phone booths instead. If you noticed, you could also access the player storage at the phone booth, a la the Yazuka series.

Now that we had phone booth as the concept, we decided it needed some animation. Ed took some inspiration from the phone booth in "Bill and Ted's", and here is the result.

The save stations are still a work-in-progress as we will add extra animations as you are saving.

We are happy with the result so far. What do you think?
