Here is a look at one of the many vending machines you’ll find in the world. This vending machine sells batteries. Batteries will be a way to keep the main character in tip-top shape during his adventure.

The power gauge is on the lower right of the screen. Beneath that, on the lower right, is a number showing how many batteries you have in your inventory.

Buying batteries in the vending machine changes the color of the power gauge. This color change indicates many power bars without going through the menu.

We took some inspiration from games like Final Fight. In Final Fight, the color changes when an enemy has more than one health bar of hit points.

The colors right now are placeholders, but it should be helpful to see when your power is running low.
